Explore the small village of Laax itself and the neighbouring villages of Flims, where there are more shops and rental places, and Falera, which can be accessed by shuttle bus. Or relax and enjoy a hot drink and a meal in one of the 19 mountain restaurants and 8 snow bars. The best panoramic views are from the top of the glacier. Café Noname at Crap Sogn Gion pumps loud music down over the halfpipes and terrain park. It’s a great sunny spot from where you can get refreshments and watch the action.
If you want a break from the pistes, there are plenty of other activities to try such as the 55 km of cross country ski trails, hiking, snow shoeing, helicopter rides, paragliding, ice skating, curling and tobogganing. There are also ski schools and a Winter Wonderland for children, a cinema, spas, a swimming pool, bowling and go karting. There is a free bus shuttle service which connects Laax, Flims and Falera throughout the day and night. In the evenings, most of the life tends to be around Flims and Laax as there is a better selection of wine bars, bars and nightclubs.
