Thanks to the extension of the five zones, the station has numerous places to enjoy winter sports and have fun. The Zen Zone is the chosen place by families with small children as the safety zone is separate from the crowds at the base. You’ll find it in Plattieres, Chatelet and Doron. The resort offers various activities at their two theme parks at the base of Meribel, which are also dedicated to young children, Little Moon and Aldea Innut.
The Dc Area 43 is a snowpark for all levels. It’s very well maintained and has lines with 45 kickers, 50 rails, a 22 ft half pipe, a beginner half pipe. There are 90.000 square metres with a variety of elements, a boarder cross course and a Big Airbag. It’s located in the Meribel – Mottaret zone, accessible from the Les Plattières gondola, and has a Livepark system where you can download your clips from the internet for free.
In Moon Park you’ll find ten hectares with boarder cross and slopestyle courses, tables, rails and boxes together with a chill out zone with a grill and huge screens to watch videos on. They also film your tricks and upload your video to the webpage for you to download.
Moon Ride is a challenging expert run and it offers you the chance to be the star of your own ‘Vertical Experience’ film where you have the option of filming your descent with two cameras.
Meribel has an extensive offer of restaurants and nightlife. Go for a walk along the shop filled streets or visit the Allues Museum which is open in the afternoons from 14:00 till 18:00 and has free entrance. There you’ll be able to find out about the history of the Three Valleys.
